			The Grundy County SWCD Board of Directors is made up of five individuals who shall be owners or occupiers of lands within the district which they serve. They are elected officials voted on at our annual meeting held on the last Monday in February. The 2007-2008 Board of Directors are:


			Eric Smith	Chairman
			Nick Schaefer	Vice Chairman
			Lon Lovellette	Secretary / Treasurer
			Chris Harford	Director
			Alan Hill	Director

			SWCD directors can appoint associate directors to assist the SWCD board. There is no limit to the number of associate directors serving a SWCD. These individuals can provide additional advice, input, perspective, and manpower to the SWCD board. Serving as an associate director can also serve as training before becoming a SWCD director. Associate directors are not afforded the same legal protection as directors and cannot vote on official business under any circumstances. The 2007 - 2008 Associate Directors are:

			Monthly board meetings are held at the SWCD office on the third Monday of every month except May and October. They are held at the District office at 5:00 pm. Meetings are open to the public and interested citizens are encouraged to attend.
